If YouTube's daily upload limit for PostNext is reached, we try the upload again after each daily reset, up to three times; if the limit is still reached, the video is marked as failed and we email you. If YouTube rejects it after upload, the post is marked as failed and you are told. For now videos upload to YouTube as private; make them public in YouTube Studio.

Can PostNext AI automatically generate and optimize YouTube video titles and descriptions?
Yes, as drafts you edit. The AI assistant writes or rewrites your post text for YouTube: the first line becomes the video title and the full text the description. You add tags yourself, then pick a time or add the video to the queue.
How do I find the best time to publish YouTube videos?
PostNext does not pick times automatically. Choose a time yourself or set posting slots for your queue. The best-time suggestions in the date picker do not cover YouTube yet.
Can I schedule YouTube Shorts, premieres, and live streams?
Long-form videos and Shorts, yes: upload a vertical video and YouTube decides whether it is a Short. Premieres and live streams are not supported; set those up in YouTube Studio.
Can I set a YouTube thumbnail in PostNext?
Not today. PostNext does not set thumbnails. YouTube picks one from your video, and you can upload a custom thumbnail in YouTube Studio after the upload.
Can I upload my brand videos and use AI to optimize YouTube content?
Yes. Upload your video files, brand logos, and visual assets to your library for instant access. The AI assistant can then draft the post text that becomes the video's title and description, and work in your brand keywords if you ask it to.
Can the AI write in my channel's voice?
Yes. Set up a brand profile with its voice (such as professional, casual or expert) and the AI assistant writes in that voice. Every AI draft, title and description stays fully editable before you schedule it.
Can production teams and agencies collaborate on YouTube content creation?
Yes. PostNext Teams gives you a shared workspace: invite teammates as admins or members, share the calendar and asset library, and route posts through approval, where a draft waits as pending until a reviewer approves it or requests changes.
Do YouTube analytics separate Shorts performance from long-form videos?
No. PostNext does not show YouTube analytics today. See how your Shorts and long-form videos perform in YouTube Studio.
Is there a free trial for YouTube scheduling before choosing a paid plan?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of a paid plan (Premium, Business or Teams). It asks for a card and runs on smaller trial limits for channels and AI credits until the first payment. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged, and you keep the free plan: one channel and 10 posts a month.
What are PostNext YouTube scheduler pricing plans?
PostNext offers four plans: Free (1 channel, 10 posts and 10 AI credits/month), Premium (15 channels, 150 AI credits), Business (20 channels, 500 AI credits), and Teams (5 channels per user, 5-user minimum, full collaboration). Paid plans bill monthly or yearly and can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled at any time.
Is PostNext YouTube automation safe and compliant with YouTube policies?
PostNext uses YouTube's official Data API with Google sign-in (OAuth 2.0), so we never see your YouTube password. YouTube in PostNext is open to a limited set of accounts while Google reviews the app. It works within YouTube's daily upload limit: when the limit is reached, we try the upload again after each daily reset, up to three times; if it is still reached, the video is marked as failed and we email you. For now videos upload to YouTube as private; make them public in YouTube Studio. If you remove PostNext's access in your Google account, PostNext deletes the YouTube tokens it stored.
Can I bulk-schedule a batch of YouTube Shorts from a single upload session?
Not in one pass. Each YouTube post holds exactly one video with its own title, description, tags and made-for-kids answer. Upload your Shorts to your library, create a post for each one, and add them to the queue so they take your next posting slots.
How does PostNext handle YouTube Community posts alongside video scheduling?
Not available. PostNext does not draft or schedule YouTube Community posts today.
Can I A/B test YouTube video titles before publishing to find the best version?
Not built in. There is no AI title ranking or title rotation. Draft title options with the AI assistant and compare performance manually in YouTube Studio.
Does the YouTube scheduler work for multi-channel production teams and MCNs?
Yes. On the Teams plan you can connect several YouTube channels (5 channels per user) to one workspace with a shared calendar and asset library. Teammates join as admins or members, and posts can go through approval before they publish.
Can I schedule YouTube end screens and cards as part of my video setup?
No. End screens and cards cannot be configured from PostNext; set them up in YouTube Studio after upload.
