Each of seven networks gets its own composer with its own rules: 280 chars on X, image-plus-caption on Instagram, long-form on LinkedIn, caption-plus-video on TikTok and YouTube.
Which networks have a dedicated composer?
Seven: X with threads, Instagram with caption plus image or carousel, LinkedIn for long-form, TikTok with 9:16 video, YouTube for Shorts and standard, Threads for short conversational, Bluesky for 300-character posts.
How does the live preview work?
As you type, preview renders in the real layout: cards on X, square or 4:5 on Instagram, paragraph spacing on LinkedIn, caption over video on TikTok. Mobile and desktop render side by side.
Can I build a thread on X or a carousel on Instagram?
Yes. X threads chain multiple posts with the full chain in preview. Instagram supports single image, carousel up to 10 slides, and Reels. Each slot has its own character count.
Does the composer enforce character limits?
Yes. X stops at 280. Instagram caption cap 2,200. LinkedIn allows 3,000. TikTok caption cap 2,200. YouTube description 5,000. Threads 500. Each composer counts down to its own ceiling.
Can I add images and video inside the composer?
Yes. Each composer has upload, stock search, AI generation, and library access. Instagram and TikTok require media; X and LinkedIn treat it as optional. Dimensions are applied on upload.
How do hashtag suggestions differ per network?
The picker adapts: Instagram up to 30 broad-plus-niche, LinkedIn 3–5 professional, X 1–3 trending, TikTok sound and trend tags, YouTube video-search tags, Threads conversational.
