Cloud storage scaled by plan

Store images, videos and GIFs in one cloud library

Upload PNG, JPG and WebP images, MP4 videos and GIFs to a cloud library shared across your posts. Storage matches your plan: 10GB on Pro, 50GB on Business, 10GB per user on Teams (a five-seat Teams workspace pools 50GB). The free plan and 7-day trial both include the library on the same file types so you can load real files before paying.

Folders that keep things findable

Sort assets into folders by client or campaign

Build folders for clients, campaigns or content pillars and drop assets in. Folders nest, so an agency can keep one tree per client, and assets move between folders in bulk as campaigns wrap. Give files clear names: library search matches on names, so 'q3-launch-demo.mp4' beats 'final-v2.mp4'.

Library search and reuse

Search the library and reuse files across posts

Search the library by file name and pull up matching images, videos and GIFs in one view. From the post composer, open the library and pick an asset to attach to a draft for any connected channel. The same MP4 or PNG can be reused across dozens of posts with no second upload, so storage stays predictable as your library grows.

Reuse the same file across multiple posts - no duplicate uploads

1

Upload images, videos and GIFs

Drag PNG, JPG, WebP, MP4 and GIF files onto the upload screen, or pick from disk. Files draw on your plan storage: 10GB on Pro, 50GB on Business, 10GB per user on Teams.
2

Sort into folders

Create folders for clients, campaigns or content pillars and drop assets in. A folder can hold images, videos and GIFs together - no separation by file type required.
3

Add from stock or AI

Pull free stock photos from Unsplash, Pexels and Pixabay in the composer, or generate images with AI - generated images save into your library automatically.
4

Search and attach to posts

From the composer, open the library, pick the asset and attach it to your draft. The same file can be attached to as many posts as you want.

Asset library - frequently asked questions

Questions on file types, storage, folders or search? Read on, or contact support.

What is the PostNext asset library?

A cloud media library that stores images, videos and GIFs you reuse across posts. Upload PNG, JPG, WebP, MP4 and GIF files once, sort into folders, and pull them into post drafts on any supported platform. Storage scales with plan: 10GB on Pro, 50GB on Business, 10GB per user on Teams.

Which file types can I upload?

Images: PNG, JPG and WebP. Videos: MP4. Animated: GIF. These cover what every supported platform (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Bluesky) accepts, so an asset uploaded once works on any channel without re-encoding.

How much storage do I get on each plan?

Pro includes 10GB. Business includes 50GB. Teams includes 10GB per user, pooled across the workspace, so a five-seat Teams plan has 50GB total. The free plan and the 7-day trial both come with library access on the same file types, so you can test with real files before paying.

How do folders work?

Folders work like a desktop: one file, one folder. Build folders for clients, campaigns or content pillars, nest them into a tree, and move assets between them as the library grows. Asset-level tags are not available today, so lean on folder structure and clear file names.

Can I search the library?

Yes. Search the library by file name from the library page and the matching images, videos and GIFs come up in one view. The composer's library picker shows your assets to browse and attach; it does not have its own search box yet.

Can I reuse an asset across multiple posts?

Yes - that is the point of the library. Upload an MP4, PNG or GIF once and attach it to as many posts as you want, on any supported platform (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Bluesky). Reuse does not consume extra storage; one upload, many posts.

Can my team share the same library?

On the Teams plan, yes. Every seat in the workspace draws from the same pooled library and the same pooled storage (10GB per user, so five seats = 50GB shared). Uploads and folders created by one teammate are visible to the rest of the workspace.

What happens if I hit my storage limit?

New uploads are blocked once you reach the limit (10GB on Pro, 50GB on Business, 10GB per user on Teams). Existing assets keep working in posts. To free space, delete files you no longer need or move up a tier - Pro to Business adds 40GB, Business to Teams shifts to a per-seat allowance that scales with the team.
