What can I actually search?

Your workspace's posts, ideas, and assets by name and text. Templates are not indexed yet.

How is this different from Viral Discovery?

Viral Discovery surfaces external trending posts to react to. Search covers your own content (drafts, scheduled, published, assets, templates) plus intent driven topic lookups. Different jobs.

Can I search posts I published years ago?

Yes. Your published archive stays searchable while your account is active. Filter by date, platform, campaign or author. Sort by engagement to find past winners worth duplicating.

Does search cover the asset library?

Yes. Logos, product shots, videos, fonts, brand colours and reusable caption blocks are indexed. Filter by file type, tag or upload date, then insert directly into a draft.

Can I save a search and get notified of new matches?

Not today. Searches run on demand; saved searches with notifications are not available.

Does search work across multiple brand workspaces?

Yes. Search every brand workspace at once or scope to one brand. Useful for agencies running multiple clients. Topic lookups are workspace independent and cover all seven platforms.

How does topic lookup help me write content?

Type a keyword and see recent sample posts around it with estimated engagement levels, so you can pick angles and hashtags that match what is moving.

Which plans include search and topic lookups?

Library search is on every plan including Free. Topic and trend lookups are on the paid plans: Premium, Business, and Teams. 7-day trial on paid plans.

Does the content search feature expose a public REST API for external dashboards?

Not for search. The public REST API covers accounts, connections, posts, assets, and analytics; search runs inside the app.

How does PostNext search handle multiple languages and non-English markets?

Search indexes captions and post bodies in 50+ languages including English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and Korean. Diacritics and accents are normalised so a search for cafe matches cafe. Topic lookup works in non-English markets too, returning trending posts in the queried language by default.

Can I bulk-export search results to CSV for client reports or migration?

Not today. Search results cannot be exported; the CSV and PDF exports cover analytics reports.

How does PostNext content search handle GDPR-sensitive workspace content?

Search is scoped to your workspace: members search the workspace's own content. Deleted posts leave the index immediately and deletion is permanent, so export anything you need before cleaning up.

Can I save a search query with notifications when new items match the filters?

Not today. There are no saved queries or notification digests; run the search when you need it.

Can I compare two different search approaches for the same topic?

Run them one after the other and note what each surfaces. Saved watchlists are not available.

Does PostNext search work across brand profiles for multi-client agencies?

Yes on Business and Teams. Multi-brand search aggregates results across every brand profile in the workspace, or scope to one profile from the search bar. Useful for an agency spotting a topic appearing across two or three clients. Role permissions restrict which brand profiles a user can search inside the workspace.

How do I migrate search history and saved queries from a previous tool?

Nothing needs migrating: search indexes your workspace content automatically. Saved searches from other tools have no equivalent here yet.
