Content Sources (RSS)
Content Sources (RSS)
Content Sources turns the feeds you already follow into a steady supply of draft posts. Connect an RSS or Atom feed, choose which channels it should feed, and PostNext creates a draft for each new item so you can review, edit, and schedule it.
Adding a feed
Open Content Sources from the sidebar and select Add feed. Give the feed a name, paste the feed URL, and pick at least one connected channel. Drafts are created for the selected channels. You can toggle a feed off at any time without deleting it.
How drafts are created
PostNext checks your enabled feeds automatically about every half hour. Each new item becomes a draft containing the item's title and link, targeted at the feed's channels. Items you have already received are skipped, and a single check picks up at most 10 new items per feed, so a busy feed cannot flood your drafts.
Use Fetch now on any feed to check it immediately, for example right after adding it.
Managing feeds
The feed list shows each source with its URL, when it was last fetched, whether it is enabled, and its status. If a feed fails to fetch, the error shows on the row so you can fix the URL or remove the source. Deleting a feed does not delete the drafts it already created.
Availability
Content Sources is available on paid plans.
